Il DEV Team risponde alle provocazioni di GeoHot: lo sblocco dell’iphone 3 G S è già pronto!!

Con un articolo sul blog ufficiale del DEV Team di due ore fa, veniamo a sapere che, con enorme sorpresa da parte di tutti i componenti del team stesso, lo sblocco è già possibile ed è già stato effettuato.
“About 5 hours ago (Thursday evening, less than a week after the 3GS launch), we were able to verify that the 24Kpwn exploit that the hybrid team used on the iPod Touch 2G is still present in the bootrom of the iPhone 3GS. That means we can apply the same sort of technique used by our current redsn0w tool to jailbreak and unlock the iPhone 3GS.”
Come si può leggere è stato scoperto che l’exploit 24Kpwn, quello attuale usato da RedSn0w, usato anche per lo sblocco degli Ipod 2G, funziona egregiamente anche sugli Iphone 3G S.
“This is great news! It seems this bootrom was cut in about the August 2008 timeframe, so the unfortunate early reveal of 24Kpwn earlier this year didn’t affect the iPhone 3GS.”
Sembra che la apple abbia compilato il bootrom prima di Agosto 2008, data in cui è stato messo a punto l’exploit 24Kpwn, e che quindi risulta essere funzionante anche sul nuovissimo iPhone.
“And yes, ultrasn0w will be able to be used on the iPhone 3GS for you unlockers!”
Con questa frase, poi, si conferma che anche lo sblocco della Sim funziona perfettamente!! Sarà quindi possibile utilizzzare gli Iphone 3G S acquistati all’estero e legati ad un piano tariffario anche in Italia con le comunissime Sim.
Non resta quindi che attendere l’aggiornamento dei software appositi ed il loro rilascio. Rimanete connessi qui su prime-news per ulteriori novità.
